Tell me a bit about yourself, Stephanie. What do you do?
I am a branding photographer. I help businesses represent themselves beautifully online. My goal is to help you sell, have impact and create a beautiful space for yourself online. I take the hard side out of content creation and make the magic happen for you, in such an easy way, it’s a wonder you didn't do it sooner! :)
What caused your soul searching to find your dream career?
I had a life changing accident that almost took my life. I suffered from chronic pain so badly that it inhibited my ability to work. I decided to start my own business using a skill that I had developed since I was a child.
What do you like most about your work?
The conversations with the women I work with. You can go from a complete stranger to my best friend in 2 hours. I try to make everyone I work with feel loved, noticed and cared for. Everyone has a story and I want to hear it.
Can you share one tip to help others figure out their dream career?
Start now. Even if it isn’t your dream career today. Things change. Business is NOT linear. One thing may lead to you discovering that you are absolutely made for something else. You dreams will come true along the way.
If you could tell your past self one thing in regard to your career change, what would it be?
I would tell my past self that it doesn't matter that you’re only 22 years old. It doesn’t matter that you have never ever run your own business before. Nothing really matters except that you do something EVERY SINGLE day to be better and create progress within yourself. Starting was the best thing I ever did.
